All companies who want to place their steel or aluminum construction product on the unique market of the European Union must have a certified system of factory production control that will enable them to issue a Declaration of Performance and CE marking of their products.
This standard defines the quality requirements that the manufacturer must meet during the design, manufacture, examination and testing of steel and aluminum structures and components. It refers to those components that are permanently installed and installed in construction facilities and whose properties have an impact on the essential characteristics and features of construction facilities: mechanical resistance and stability, fire safety, hygiene, health and environment, safety and accessibility in use, noise protection, energy saving and heat conservation and permanet sustainable use of natural resources.
System certification according to EN 1090 is a specific activity that requires a certified auditor, and the factory VULKAN-NOVA Ltd. decided on a proven partner, the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Naval Architecture (FSB) from Zagreb, which was successfully realized on July 13, 2020.
This certificate is now added to certificate ISO9001:2015 – quality management system certificate, Croatian and Russian register of shipping certificates for welding in shipbuilding and mechanical engineering. Soon new certificate will be added – the certificate of production approval in accordance with the rules of the classification company Det Norske Veritas – Germanischer Lloyd, which is our partner in quality management system certification as well.
